Personalised Coaching:

The aim of coaching is to accompany a person or team for a specific period of time. The person or group in question are facing issues or working through a personal development process with one or several clearly defined objectives.

What is a coach?

    • A coach is first and foremost a key resource and facilitator who accompanies clients during times of change. A coach’s expertise lies in their interpersonal skills.
    • Extensive training coupled with professional coaching experience enable the coach to understand his client’s issues and environment
    • A coach is considerate and attentive, he listens to his client without judging, which gives him a certain impartiality
    • A coach does not offer advice, he creates the ideal conditions so that his client can find their own solution
    • The coach’s work is structured, it takes the form of meetings where the client is encouraged to address certain questions and reassess their own situation

Any information given and anything discussed during sessions is strictly confidential. A confidentiality contract is signed between the coach and his client.

How can you recognise a good coach?

A good coach:

  • should inspire confidence
  • respects you and your values
  • listens to you and does not judge
  • is able to help you see your own true vision
  • helps you remain focussed on your objectives
  • is a driving force and prompts constructive questions at each session
  • helps you progress towards your goal
  • does not offer advice
  • respects confidentiality

Your coaching project

You will benefit from a coaching service based on mutual respect and outlined in a confidentiality contract. It is an important time which encourages objectivity and analysis; it is an opportunity to look for solutions and alternatives. There are face to face sessions followed up with conversations on the telephone or via the Internet.

Distance coaching:

Can coaching via telephone, email, chat or videoconference really work?

Lots of coaches work on the phone in order to meet the needs of clients who are in a different geographical location or who have little time to travel. It suits people:

  • who are comfortable speaking on the phone
  • who find it easier to concentrate on the phone (fewer distractions)
  • who prefer being in their own environment
  • who are more comfortable confiding in someone over the phone

These means of communication can also be used for team coaching sessions when the various team members are in different geographical locations and have little time to travel. It also means saving time and money. Email and chat facilities suit people who need time to reflect on things before replying. As for videoconference, it offers all the advantages of a traditional face to face session, without the client having to travel.

Many people use several communication tools during their coaching programme, depending on their availability. In fact, no solution is « better » than another. It all depends on a client’s individual needs and preferences.

Do not hesitate to contact us so that we can assess your project and offer you a service suited to your individual needs.
