The cost of a translation is based on several criteria:

• the number of words in the source document;

• the technicality of the original document;

• the deadline set by the client;

• the page layout (PowerPoint presentations, pdf documents, tables or graphs, etc...);

• whether the client has a loyalty card or a gift voucher.

The most important factor when drawing up a quote is the analysis of the document(s) to be translated. This is particularly the case for the revision or correction of texts because the cost will largely depend on the quality of the existing translation*.

In order to give you an idea of our rates, here are our price ranges:

Translation:

• CHF 0.20 to 0.45 per word *
  * reduction applied depending on the frequency of word repetitions

• CHF 2.10 to 3.50 per line

Proof reading, correction or revision:

• CHF 90.- to 120.- per hour

Document creation:

• CHF 90.- to 135.- per hour

Page layout (InDesign, PowerPoint, PDF)*

• CHF 9.- to 15.- per page
